March 7-9, 2018

Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

We are seeking musicians, sound creators, music scholars and sound studies practitioners to join us March 7-9, 2018 at MIT to celebrate and explore the leading edges of music and sound.

Topics include:

  • music, race, and ethnicity
  • sound and cognition
  • dance, bodies, sex & gender
  • music production/performance & sound creation
  • entrepreneurial innovations
  • dynamic acoustics & audio
  • activism through music

We are seeking proposals for talks, performances, and sound experiences. Our goal is to create a dynamic and experimental conference, combining talks and discussion with music mixers, sound happenings, networking, and more. Review of proposals will begin October 13, 2017 and continue afterwards as well.
